Both earned their place on our showroom floor over years of installs, and between them they cover everything from a smart starter kitchen to full custom. Plywood boxes on the Allure and Ovela lines (Illume uses engineered furniture board), soft-close everything, and finishes that still look right after a decade of daily use — at a price that leaves room in the budget for the countertop you actually want. Painted, stained and laminate doors in shaker and slab styles that suit almost every Missoula home, typically delivered in 4–6 weeks.

Built in Monroe, Washington, to the dimensions of your room. Choose traditional framed cabinets (a solid wood frame on the front of each box) or modern frameless ones (no frame, so the doors cover the box). Doors can sit inside the frame (inset) or cover it (overlay), in styles from classic shaker to flat slab, in rift-cut oak, walnut and painted finishes. This is the line we reach for on view homes, timber frames and modern builds alike. Expect 6–8 weeks, sometimes longer on specialty finishes.

Not every Montana kitchen is a shaker kitchen. Canyon Creek makes frameless cabinets with flat slab doors in rift-cut white oak, walnut or matte paint. Most get a simple pull on every door. For no hardware at all, Canyon Creek's framed Cornerstone line offers a finger-pull edge routed into the door. We pair either one with a thin mitered or waterfall countertop edge (the countertop turns down the side of the cabinet). If that's the kitchen in your head, say so at the first meeting and we'll start there.
Every cabinet is planned to your walls, your appliances and the way you use the room, in 3D before anything is ordered. Sometimes a narrow filler panel is needed to close a gap between a cabinet and a wall. When it is, we plan it into the design instead of improvising on install day.

Soft-close hardware, pull-outs, drawer dividers, spice storage, trash pull-outs — we plan the inside of every cabinet, not just the outside.
We install Rev-A-Shelf pull-outs and organizers in cabinets from both makers we carry, Fabuwood and Canyon Creek: a trash pull-out by the sink, a lazy Susan in the corner, a spice rack by the stove. It's an easy upgrade, and simplest to plan while we design your cabinets. Ask us about adding them.

No — and that's intentional. Fabuwood and Canyon Creek run shops that do nothing but build cabinets, with quality controls and warranty programs we couldn't replicate at our scale. Our value is in design, matching the right line to your project, and installing every job with our own crew.
Fabuwood cabinets usually arrive 4–6 weeks after we order them. Canyon Creek takes 6–8 weeks, sometimes longer on specialty finishes. We confirm the date when we order and keep you posted until they arrive.
Fabuwood and Canyon Creek's Cornerstone and Millennia lines carry limited lifetime warranties for the original owner; Canyon Creek's Katana line is 3 years. We warrant our installation work for one year. The terms are spelled out in your project agreement. See what each warranty covers.
Yes, and we do it often. Roll-out shelves instead of deep low cabinets, pull-down upper shelving, easy-grip hardware, better task lighting, a lowered prep section, and clearances that work with a walker or wheelchair. We tear them out and haul them away as part of the install — it's a line on your quote, not a surprise, and you don't need to arrange a dumpster. If your old cabinets are in decent shape and you'd like them donated or kept for a garage or shop, tell us and we'll set them aside instead.
Constantly. Missoula has a lot of 1920s–1950s houses. We measure on site before anything is ordered and trim each cabinet to fit the walls you actually have. Where a narrow filler panel is needed to close a gap, we plan it into the design rather than improvising on install day.
