Five steps, no surprises: from the start of design, most kitchens take about 6–9 weeks with Fabuwood cabinets or 8–11 weeks with Canyon Creek, plus the time you take to approve your quote.
At our showroom or your home. We look at your space, talk about how you live in it, and by the end you'll know whether we're the right fit and roughly what your project will cost.
Your Cabinet Specialist translates your goals into 3D drawings — your actual kitchen, your actual walls. Most projects go through one or two revisions. We expect that.
A clear, itemized quote — cabinet lines, finishes, hardware, counters, every line visible. We walk you through it line by line, and you take the time you need.
With your approval and deposit, we order the cabinets, countertops, handles, and accessories. Fabuwood cabinets usually arrive in 4–6 weeks, Canyon Creek in 6–8. You get updates at every milestone.
Our in-house crew handles old cabinet removal, install, and a final walkthrough. Countertops are templated once the cabinets are set, then cut in our Missoula shop and installed; plan on about one week without a working kitchen. Anything that's not right goes on a punch list — and we own it until it's resolved.
The same company that designs your kitchen installs it: our crew, our calendar, one point of contact. Faster scheduling, fewer mix-ups, and one phone number from design through install. We warrant our installation for one year; see every warranty.
It depends on the size of the room and what you choose — cabinet line, door style, countertop material and how much we change. We don't publish price ranges, because a range from someone else's kitchen doesn't tell you much about yours. The free design consultation gives you a real number for your project, and we'll be honest about whether what you want and what you have line up.
About one week. Most of the project is waiting for your cabinets to be built, and your kitchen works normally the whole time. Once they arrive, we remove the old cabinets and set the new ones, template the countertops, cut them in our Missoula shop and install them. Plan on about one week without a working kitchen, countertops included. We'll give you the exact dates before we start and help you set up a coffee-and-microwave spot somewhere else in the house.
We protect floors and doorways on the way in, contain dust at the work area, and clean up at the end of every day rather than leaving a jobsite in your kitchen. Usually two or three of our own people, the same faces throughout, arriving in the morning and gone by afternoon. If you have dogs or someone home during the day, tell us up front and we'll work around it.
Before the order is placed, changes cost nothing but time. Once cabinets are ordered they're built to your spec, so changes then may carry a manufacturer charge — we'll tell you exactly what before anything is committed. Your deposit secures the order; we'll walk you through the terms in writing at approval.
No. Most clients come in with a general direction and a few inspiration photos. Your Cabinet Specialist takes it from there.
A 50% deposit secures your order, with the balance due on completion. We take bank transfer (ACH), check, and major cards (3% processing fee on cards). Financing is available for projects that call for it.
We work within about a two-hour drive of the showroom: Missoula, the Bitterroot (Hamilton, Stevensville, Victor, Florence), Lolo, Frenchtown, Seeley Lake, Polson, Deer Lodge, Philipsburg and the towns between. Farther out? Ask us.
