Soft veining, waterfall edges, honed and polished finishes. Today's quartz carries the look of natural marble without the sealing. This is the surface most of our Missoula kitchens end up choosing.
Warm whites, soft creams, and stone textures sit naturally in farmhouse and timber-frame kitchens. Concrete looks, deep charcoals, and honed finishes carry a contemporary slab kitchen just as well — and pair cleanly with a thin mitered edge. Both manufacturers run deep programs in both directions; the right one for your kitchen is a conversation, not a price tier.
Once your quartz is chosen and your cabinets are set, we template the actual room, not the plan: we make an exact pattern of your tops. Then we cut, shape and polish the edges in our own Missoula shop. That's the step most companies hand to someone else. It decides whether a seam disappears or stands out, and whether an edge feels sharp or soft under your hand. The crew that polishes it is the crew that carries it into your kitchen and sets it.

No. It's non-porous — wipe it down and you're done. That's most of why it's become the default kitchen surface.
Your quartz is ordered when you approve your quote, so it's ready when your cabinets are. Once the cabinets are set, we template the tops, cut them in our Missoula shop and install them. For a full kitchen, plan on about one week without a working kitchen, countertops included.
